Stillwell Ave. Prep School may carry the Stillwell name, but its a school that has grown to serve three locations in Brooklyn. Those locations are:

  • 1990 Stillwell Ave.
  • 6420 Bay Parkway
  • 132 Highlawn Ave.

The basic philosophy of Stillwell Ave. Prep School is that children need both physical and mental order in order to make progress in learning. Its not a new concept, but it is written in stone at Stillwell Ave. and that coupled with the idea that children need self confidence as a foundation makes all the difference in how they are treated at Stillwell Ave. Prep School.

Stillwell Ave. Prep School offers a structured environment for children in preschool and day care. Learning is focused on math, science, language arts, reading, dramatization, house keeping, computers, arts crafts, and social studies. Students also conduct science experiments and experience the joy of cooking. The curriculum is focused on individualized teaching and learning.

Solid hands-on activities are integrated into the lesson plan daily. In addition to educational curricula, students are fed breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Students can attend part time or full time. A summer program is offered after the regular school year.
